How German is our blood?

OK, it is not too hard to determine the percentage of your blood that is German. To be 100% German in terms of your blood both parents and their entire ancestors need to be German.

In checking our family tree, this is true until our direct ancestor George Schisler who married an English lady (Alma Young).

The last full set of direct ancestors to both be German were Peter Schisler and his wife Sarah Barnhardt.

Their son George is our direct ancestor as well and he would be 100% German.

From there:

Full German     George Schisler
1/2 German     James George Currie Schisler
1/4 German     George Ivan Schisler
1/8 German   Ken Schisler & Stan Schisler & Doreen Barnett
1/16 German   All their children unless some German in their heritage
1/32 German   The children of the above unless some German heritage
etc.

In regards to our DNA lineage from the male side (Schisslers) we are for certain German as confirmed by DNA testing verified by Genebase. More on that later...
